Nickel 201 is a solid solution strengthened commercially pure wrought nickel grade. The Nickel 201 Pipe is designed consisting of a higher nickel content along with other alloys giving it desired properties. This gives the pipes enhanced resistance to corrosive and oxidative media across stress-induced setups. The versatile Alloy 201 Pipe has high electrical conductivity and is tolerant to caustic alkalies. These pipes have enhanced resistance against dry fluorine and can handle caustic soda across different temperatures and pressures. UNS N02201 Round Pipe has excellent thermal, electrical, and magnetostrictive properties. These pipes have a melting point between 1435 to 1446 degrees C and have a density of 8.89 g/cm3. The robust Nickel 201 Tube is produced with enhanced mechanical properties. These tubes have a minimum tensile strength of 403mpa with a minimum yield strength of 103mpa. These tubes can be easily elongated by 50% in the system. The Pure Ni 201 Annealed Pipe is heat-treated to remove any internal stresses and increase the ductility of the pipe.
The pipes in the Nickel 201 grade are manufactured in seamless, welded, and erw configurations. Nickel 201 Seamless Pipe is produced as hot steel billets are passed through extruded metal to shape them in the correct dimensions. These pipes may be slightly expensive but have higher strength and load-bearing capacity compared to other pipes in this grade. The Nickel 201 Welded Pipe, on the contrary, is designed for moderate to low pressure and temperature applications. These pipes are produced as sheets or strips are welded in place following standard welding procedures. Nickel 201 ERW Pipe is a unique grade that is produced as metal is rolled and subsequently welded longitudinally in place by passing high voltage current through the metal grade.
