ASTM A671 is a specification of electric-fusion welded steel pipe grade. The ASTM A671 Pipe is welded using a filler metal that is suitable for use for pressure vessel quality steel. These pipes can work in both low and high temperature setups. A671 Pipe Material is designed with a chemical content of carbon, silicon, manganese, phosphorous, and sulfur. The superior composition gives the A671 Pipe enhanced resistance to corrosive and oxidative media across stress-induced environmental systems. ASTM A671 CC60 Pipe is designed in standard sizes between ½ inches up 36 inches. These pipes have a wall thickness between 3mm up to 12mm. The A671 CC65 Cl22 Fusion Welded Pipe is employed to combine two or more thermoplastic pieces using welding machines. These pipes create a permanent bond when they are strongly pushed into the system. ASTM A671 Gr CC60 Electric Fusion Welded Pipe is designed as steel pipes are produced by passing high voltage electricity. The process is preferred as it doesn’t require a lot of equipment to weld them in place. ASTM A671 Efw Pipes make use of an electron beam to create a strong joint. These pipes are seen in petrochemical, oil and gas systems, shipbuilding, boiler vessels, general purposes applications, etc.
The ASTM A671 CC65 Cl22 Pipe is designed with excellent mechanical properties. These pipes possess a tensile strength between 450 to 550 N/mm2. ASTM A671 CC65 grade has a minimum yield strength of 240 N/mm2 and can be readily elongated by 23% in the system. The A671 CC60 Cl22 grade can work in high as well as low temperature setups. The items from this grade can be beveled or covered with protective caps. ASTM A671 CC60 Class 22 components can be coated with anti-corrosion, oil, black paint, galvanized, or varnish as per requirements. The ASTM A671 Gr CC60 Cl 32 grade can be shaped in a range of cross-sections. The piping components in this grade have a wall thickness between 2mm to 6mm. The ASTM A671 CC60 Pipe produced in India is cheaper due to the abundant raw material and quality cheap labour available in the country. The A671 CC65 Pipe can be custom designed to meet all your project requirements. If you have any queries or want to know more about the A671 Gr CC60 Welded Pipe, contact us for more information.
