A53 Gr B is a carbon steel grade that is designed for low-pressure pipelines and structural steel applications. ASTM A53 Gr B Pipe is made up of a superior chemical composition consisting of carbon, manganese, phosphorous, sulfur, copper, nickel, chromium, molybdenum, and vanadium. This gives the A53 Gr B grade superior resistance to corrosive and oxidative media across stress-induced setups. The versatile A53 Pipe can be manufactured following seamless, welded, or hot-dipped nominal grades that are suitable for bending, flanging, and other special operations. The A53 Gr B Material showcases excellent mechanical properties and exhibit a minimum yield strength of 240mpa with a minimum tensile strength of 415mpa. The minimum permissible wall thickness of the ASTM A53 Pipe at any point shouldn’t exceed more than 12.5% under the specified wall thickness.
