ASTM A335 P23 grade is a ferritic seamless grade. The ASTM A335 P23 Pipe is designed with an outstanding composition of chromium, nickel, and molybdenum alongside other alloying elements. This gives the A335 Gr P23 Chrome Moly Pipe enhanced resistance to a wide spectrum of corrosive media. These pipes are designed in sizes between 1/8 NB to 24 NB. ASTM A335 P23 Boiler Pipe has outstanding strength and tolerances. These pipes can transport and process volatile fluids and gases without fracturing due to any pressure. The P23 Pipe material is designed with a minimum tensile strength of 510mpa with a minimum yield strength of 400mpa. The material can be easily elongated by 20% in the system. The versatile A335 P23 Pipe has a maximum length of 16000mm with a wall thickness between 2mm to 14mm. These pipes can be availed in plain, beveled, or threaded ends. This Alloy Steel P23 Pipe is designed in schedules of SCH 40 to SCH 160 and XXS.
The P23 Seamless Pipe is produced without any seams or welds. This gives these pipes enhanced strength and excellent load-bearing capacity in the system. The pipes are generally processed in hot or cold rolling procedures. ASTM A335 Gr P23 Hot rolled pipe is produced in high-temperature mills till it reaches its recrystallization value. This allows the pipes and subsequent modules to be easily worked with. An SA335 P23 Cold drawn pipe is processed at room temperatures. Here the pipes are rolled over dies allowing them to have enhanced tolerance and excellent surface finish.
