304L Stainless Steel Pipe

304L is an austenitic grade of low-carbon stainless steel. The 304L Stainless Steel Pipe is designed with superior chemical concertation containing nickel and chromium embedded in their structure. This gives the 304L Stainless Steel Tube superior corrosion and oxidation resistance properties. They are designed to work in temperatures up to 1600 degrees F. For continuous service, the Stainless Steel 304L Tube is not recommended in temperatures between 800 to 1589 degrees F. This gives the tubes to possess excellent tolerance to carbide precipitation. The 304L Tubing showcases excellent mechanical properties. These tubes have a minimum tensile strength of 70ksi with a minimum yield strength of 25ksi. The 304L Stainless Steel Tubing can be readily elongated by 40% and still possess excellent workability. This versatile tubing is designed with a hardness of 201max Brinell.

The low-carbon Stainless Steel 304L Pipe has excellent drawability and can be shaped in different shapes and sizes. These pipes can be readily welded in place following standard welding procedures. ASTM A269 TP304L Round Pipe can be produced in seamless or welded configurations. Designed with a circular cross-section these pipes are used to transport fluids and gases at high pressures and temperatures. An ASTM A312 TP304L Square Pipe is designed with equal sides having a square cross-sectional area. The pipes of this grade exhibit good strength and are used in infrastructural and structural applications.

The SS 304L Pipe is designed with a density of 8.0 g/cm3 and has a melting point of 1450 degrees C. These pipes in the USA cost around $4.60 per kg, while in Europe the price is around $4.02 per kg. The price of these pipes in India at our outlets starts at $2.61 per kg. These pipes are generally produced in three types. A 304L Seamless Stainless Steel Pipe is a high-strength pipe grade designed by passing hot steel billets and shaping the material grade. SA312 TP304L Erw Pipe is manufactured by passing electricity and welding pipes strongly together across the system.
