SA 213 T22 Tube
SA 213 T22 tube is ferritic and austenitic boiler grade. The SA 213 T22 Tube is designed with a chemical composition consisting of carbon, manganese, phosphorous, sulfur, silicon, chromium, and molybdenum. The outstanding composition gives the SA 213 Gr T22 Tubing excellent resistance to corrosive media. This tubing also showcases excellent workability in high-temperature setups. A T22 Boiler Tube is used to hold and process volatile material. These tubes are used to boil water to produce steam across stress-induced environments. T22 Tube Material shows good toughness and can be shaped in a range of dimensions to meet different project requirements. The material is designed with a tensile strength of 60ksi with a yield strength of 30ksi. This allows the SA 213 T22 Heat Exchanger Tube to transfer high-pressure fluids and gases from one medium to the other. This is done by allowing room for heating and cooling to take place in the system. The versatile SA213 T22 Superheater Tubes act as a device that helps in converting saturated steam and wet steam into heated dry steam. These tubes are designed with a hardness of Brinell 163HB max.
The tubes in the T22 grade can be produced in hot or cold drawing processes. A A213 T22 Hot Finished Tube is produced by heating billets at high temperatures and punching a hole through metal grades. This allows the grade to be formed in correct dimensions. A T22 Steel Cold Drawn Tube is processed soon after the hot rolling process. Here the tubes are processed at room temperatures soon after the hot rolling process. The tubes are run over dies and processed giving the tubes excellent surface finish and enhanced tolerances. ASTM A213 T22 Seamless Tube is a grade that covers non-pressurized vessels and grades. The seamless tubes have enhanced strength and load-bearing capacity. The ASME SA213 T22 Seamless Tubing covers a grade for pressure vessel grades that are designed to work in high-pressure and temperature systems.
