API 5L X70 Pipe
API 5L X70 is a premium grade of the API 5L grade. The API 5L X70 Pipe is embedded with a chemical composition of carbon, manganese, phosphorous, sulfur, vanadium, niobium, and titanium. The versatile X70 Pipe is designed to suffice in a range of corrosive environments and high temperature and pressure setups. These pipes comprise of PSL 1 and PSL 2 grade types. The API 5L X70 Psl2 Pipe is a high-strength grade that is designed with superior mechanical properties and outstanding chemical content over the Psl 1 grade. API 5L Grade X70 Psl 2 grade is used in the transmission of petroleum, natural gas, and high-pressure components in the system. The robust API 5L X70 Psl2 components are designed with a minimum tensile strength of 82ksi, with a minimum yield strength of 70ki across different environments. The Iso 3183 L485 Pipe doesn’t require a lot of maintenance and can be custom designed as per your requirements.
The X70 Line Pipe is designed in schedules between SCH 10 to SCH 160 and XXS. These pipes are designed in seamless, welded, and ERW configuration types. The X70 Seamless Pipes are amongst the strongest pipe grades designed without any seam or welds present in their cross-sections. These pipes are available in lengths up to 24 inches. API 5L X70 Welded Pipe is a good cost-effective alternative to seamless pipes. These pipes are produced by rolling the metal, followed by welding them in place. API X70 Erw Pipe is produced by passing high proximity current through the pipe. The longitudinally welded pipes are versatile and feature in different applications.
