The 347H belongs to an austenitic high carbon stainless steel grade. A 347H stainless steel pipe is designed with an outstanding chemical concentration of chromium and nickel with columbium and tantalum used to stabilize them. This content gives these pipes enhanced corrosion and oxidation resistance properties across stress-induced setups. The Stainless Steel 347H Pipe doesn’t rupture or disorientate in temperatures ranging up to 1500 degrees F. These pipes showcase higher creep and stress rupture properties and are utilized in applications where sensitization is of the highest degree. SS 347H Pipe is designed with a density of 7.96 g/cm3 and is a little difficult to weld in place due to the higher content of carbon embedded in their composition. In comparison to these pipes, the 347H Stainless Steel Tube has higher strength and enhanced corrosion resistance properties. The components in this grade showcase excellent mechanical properties. The ASTM A312 TP 347H Round Pipes is not suited for the heat treatment procedure. These pipes are annealed at temperatures of 1950 degrees F, followed by a water quenching process to improve their resistance to attacks from acids.

Designed by passing hot steel billets through extruded the metal is very reliable and durable in high pressure and temperature applications. The SS 347H Welded Pipes offer a cost-effective alternative to seamless pipes. These pipes are preferred in moderate to low-pressure applications and are produced by welding pieces of sheets or strips in place. Stainless Steel 347H ERW Pipe is a unique pipe type in this grade that is welded in place by passing high voltage current through the metal.
